Hospice East Rand is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on donations, fundraisers and bequests to provide our services. To ensure long-term sustainability, we have ten established charity shops and a bookshop in our operating area. Donation of goods for resale in these shops is an invaluable way of helping our Hospice maintain its high standard of care. These shops form the backbone of the continuous income required.

What Can Be Donated?
We are appreciative of all your un-used or unwanted household items. These include but are not limited to: pots and pans; crockery; cutlery; linen; curtains; ornaments; toys; furniture; electrical appliances in working order; bric-a-brac; books; DVDs; CDs; mens, ladies and children’s clothing.

How Can I Donate Items?
Any donated items can be dropped off at the Hospice Charity Shop closest to you or at the depot situated at 216 Kemston Avenue, Benoni. If you are unable to drop the items off please contact Carla or Carol on +27 11 422 1531 to arrange collection from you. We are extremely appreciative of your support!
