Hospice funding is an ongoing concern as no government grants or funding is received. Every hospice in South Africa is autonomous in terms of fundraising.
In order to ensure long-term sustainability, we have 10 established charity shops and a bookshop in the Ekurhuleni area. These shops bring in a substantial contribution to our annual budget requirements.
Donation of goods for resale is an invaluable way of helping our hospice to maintain its high standard of care. These shops form the backbone of the continuous income required.
Kindly hand in at your nearest Hospice East Rand charity shop or at the depot at 216 Kemston Avenue, Benoni.
If you are unable to do this, please contact hospice on 011 420 0672 / 011 422 1531 and we will arrange collection.
